Pharmacy Finder FAQs

What is RxLocal Pharmacy Finder?

  • Pharmacy Finder is a no-cost web platform for community pharmacies to highlight the services that differentiate them from large national chains and mail order pharmacies. Additionally, this platform allows pharmacies to receive more comprehensive patient reviews.

What is a Participating Pharmacy?

  • A pharmacy is in “Participating” status when they have claimed their pharmacy through our verification process on Pharmacy Finder and also confirmed their services and capabilities by completing the Services section. Participating Pharmacies are listed first on the website.

Why should I claim my pharmacy?

  • Claiming your location boosts your online SEO (search engine optimization), which generates more patient traffic. The more locations claimed, the easier it will be for patients to find independent pharmacies near them.
  • Highlighting offered services informs potential and existing patients of all the benefits of filling at your pharmacy.
  • 90% of consumers research online before visiting a business. Being a participating pharmacy helps you get noticed and found.

How long will it take to become a Participating Pharmacy?

  • The entire process takes about 15 minutes.

How do I add my pharmacy if it’s not listed in the search results?
